About Pondicherry Engineering College
Pondicherry Engineering College (PEC) is an autonomous Institution funded by Government of Puducherry and is affiliated to Pondicherry University. The college is situated on East coast Road at about 12 kms north of Puducherry. It is about 160 km south of Chennai on the shores of Bay of Bengal. PEC is an AICTE recognized Minor QIP centre for doing M.Tech. and Ph.D. It is an AICTE recognized research institute offering National Doctoral Fellowship for doing Ph.D. The college is also receiving funds from AICTE, DST, MNRE, etc, of Government of India, through several projects undertaken by the faculties.
About the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering offers B. Tech., M.Tech. and Ph.D. programmes. The Department has highly qualified, experienced and committed faculty members with expertise in all specializations of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The Department has well equipped laboratories with state of art modern instruments to cater the need for teaching and research activities. The Department also has excellent computational facilities and a library with several volumes of books. The Department of EEE has become minor QIP centre from the year 2013.

The international conference on advances in modeling, control and optimization of electrical systems (ICAES 2020) aims to become the leading international conference in fields related to electrical engineering and electronics. The goal of ICAES 2020 is to gather academicians, practicing engineers and research scholars from all over the world to present advances in the relevant fields and to foster an environment conductive to exchange ideas and information.

Authors are invited to submit their original, unpublished, full length research papers for the international conference ICAES 2020.
The topic of interest includes

Power electronics, systems and applications
Circuits and systems
Electrical machines and adjustable speed drives
Control and signal processing
Optimization algorithms and applications

Electric Vehicles
Submission of papers
Authors can submit the papers in MS word format to the email id [email protected]
Papers should be submitted in standard IEEE double column format. Maximum number of pages is limited to 6.
All the submitted papers will be peer reviewed by conference committee, and undergo plagiarism check. All the accepted and registered papers will be published in ICAES 2020 conference proceedings with ISBN number. In addition the accepted and registered manuscripts, based on their quality after peer review by the editorial committee, will be published in indexed journals. Best paper will be selected from each track and the author will be recognized with certificate and award.
